Working Lunch Series highlights benefits of partnering with Workforce Solutions
Did you know that Workforce Solutions can help you locate the right employees for your business needs at no charge to you? Understanding the benefits from partnering with Workforce Solutions is the focus of the Working Lunch Series that will be hosted by Central Fort Bend Chamber at Workforce Solutions – Rosenberg on April 20th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
De’jashatun Williams, a certified Workforce Expert at Workforce Solutions, and Tamara Sealy, Continuing Education Corporate Training Coordinator at WCJC Richmond campus, are the guest speakers at the business luncheon. They will present on the various resources available to area employers, such as, training grants, work-based learning programs, human resources support, labor market information for new and existing businesses, and more.
Williams specializes in economic and workforce development, connecting local business to local talent and helping businesses locate local, state and federal training dollars. Sealy oversees all corporate training initiatives including funding opportunities, such as the Skills Development Fund (SDF) grants and Skills for Small Business (SSB) grants.
The Central Fort Bend Chamber’s Working Lunch Series focuses on technical education topics for small business and is held the third Thursday of each month.
The cost of the luncheon is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members.
